The teams for the CHaD New Hampshire East-West High School All-Star Football Game have been announced.
Peter Thibault of Newport is the only Division III player named to the West team. There are no D-III players on the East squad.
Teams playing in the D-III North Conference during the 2017 season were Newport, Monadnock, Inter-Lakes, Stevens, Kearsarge, Fall Mountain, Mascoma and Newfound.
South Conference teams came from Somersworth, Campbell, Epping, Bishop Brady, Franklin, Farmington, Winnisquam and Raymond.
Hopkinton had one player named to the CHaD West team but he was a member of the team representing Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton and it played in Division II last season.
Concord High coach Eric Brown will take over for Jim Schubert as head coach of the West team, while Laconia coach Craig Kozens will lead the East for a fourth summer.
The annual summer event highlights some of the state’s best high school football players on the field while charging them to raise money off the field for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD).
The game is scheduled to start at1 p.m. June 30 at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of the University of New Hampshire in Durham.
