Bromley to host February Festival to benefit outing club

PERU — After receiving 27 inches of powder in just a few days, Bromley Mountain Ski Resort in Peru is gearing up for several events, including the Bromley Winter Games, going on this week, and a February Festival & Fireworks scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17.

All are welcome to join Bromley Mountain for the yearly celebration, which organizers will kick off with torchlight parade and fireworks around 7 p.m. Then it’s on to the base lodge for live music and dancing with The Mike McMann Band.

The evening will also include good eats, a raffle, a live auction, and other activities.

Proceeds from this event will go to benefit the Bromley Outing Club.

Coming up on Feb. 24 will be the Vermont Specialty Food Day. It is free to attend this event, where visitors can enjoy all the flavors of Vermont, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the Ski Vermont 2017 Specialty Food Day Tour.

The lineup features tasting and samples from Caledonia Spirits, Mad River Distillers, Kimball Brook Farms, and Cabot Cheese.
