Online auction will benefit hospital’s Patient Care Fund

TOWNSHEND — Would you like a massage? A trip to Mexico? An evening at the theater? Your name in Archer Mayor’s next book? From 6 a.m. on Feb. 14 until the clock strikes 9 p.m. on Feb. 28, bidding will be open on these items and many more through the Grace Cottage’s annual Cabin Fever Online Auction. An array of more than 70 items has been donated by generous businesses and individuals, with all proceeds to benefit the Grace Cottage Patient Care Fund.

Auction items include something for every taste and budget, including treasures not available anywhere else. Auction items range in value from $20 to “Priceless,” including gift certificates to favorite local restaurants, practical items like an oil change for your car, ski passes, rounds of golf, fudge, a sailing trip, pottery, tickets to the Masters Golf Tournament, and plenty more, according to a press release.

Bid low and get notified when someone outbids you, or a “Buy Now” option will also be available. The annual fundraiser helps to provide free care to those lacking adequate resources. For more information, visit www.gracecottage.org/events.
