NEW LONDON —TheNational Association for Business Resources named New London Hospital (NLH) as one of the nation’sBest and Brightest in Wellnessin 2017.
This program honors companies and organizations that exemplify quality and excellence in employee and worksite health.
NLH’s employee wellness program was evaluated on several criteria used to benchmark and improve wellness program effectiveness, including outcomes, tracking, participation, leadership and employee input, and culture and environment.
“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our employee wellness program,”says Catherine Bardier, director of wellness and community health at NLH.
“We have worked hard to create a culture of health for our organization—with the goal of also having a positive impact on our communities and the well-being of our region.”
