Grant-writing workshop set for March 1

CONCORD — The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts will be holding regional one-hour workshops focused on teaching applicants how to complete competitive applications for several of the Council’s grant programs.

The workshops will address who is eligible to apply, what types of projects are funded, how to use the online grant system, steps in the application process and how applications are evaluated.

Fiscal year 2019 grant categories include arts in health projects, artist residencies in schools for arts learning, general project grants for community engagement, traditional arts apprenticeships, and youth arts projects for creative youth development.

One of the workshops is scheduled at the Library Arts Center, Newport, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.

There is no charge to attend the workshops. Space is limited and online registration is required in advance.
