NEW LONDON — Colby-Sawyer College senior Emmani Robinson (Newburgh, N.Y.) has been named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Robinson turned in a pair of great performances last week leading the Chargers to two wins in the final week of the regular season. The senior averaged 15 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals, and two assists, while shooting 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the floor.
She began the week with her ninth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds to go with four steals and three assists in a win over Lyndon. The forward ended the week with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while recording seven rebounds, five steals, one assist and one block in a road win at Johnson.
Colby-Sawyer (20-5, 15-3 NAC) earned the second seed in this week’s NAC Tournament and will play the winner of Husson/New England College on Friday evening at Castleton in the semifinals.
