CLAREMONT — Valley Regional Healthcare is proud to partner with the Hubbard Center for Women’s Health at Cheshier Medical Center in Keene to provide its patients high-quality midwifery care close to home.
The partnership between Valley Regional Healthcare and Cheshire Medical Center will ensure families in the Sullivan County area have access to care that is both evidence-based and individualized to their needs.
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) will provide prenatal and postpartum care on the Valley Regional Healthcare campus in Claremont. They will work closely with their physician colleagues at Cheshire Medical Center, providing seamless connections if the care of a specialist is needed.
Additional 24/7 labor and delivery services of Cheshire include lactation consultation, volunteer doula services, water therapy during labor, anesthesiology services, and dedicated surgical rooms. Women and families have choices of where to give birth.
Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH provides the comfort of a trusted Certified Nurse Midwife that families work with at Valley Regional Healthcare. Cheshire Medical Center is an affiliate member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system.
Appointments are available on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An appointment with a CNM at Valley Regional can be scheduled by calling 542-7771. CNMs are on-call 24/7 and can be reached through Cheshire Medical Center by calling (603) 354-6640 during business hours and (603) 354-5400 after hours.
