CLAREMONT — A Claremont woman who was arrested last month on several drug charges was one of 15 people indicted last week.

Samantha Davis, 27, was charged in Sullivan County Superior Court last week with possession with intent to sell more than 5 grams of heroin, possession with intent to sell fentanyl, possession with intent to sell marijuana, sale of marijuana, two counts of sale of cocaine and possession with intent to sell N-Ethyl-Pentylone.

Davis was arrested on Jan. 31 following a two-week investigation by Claremont Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force. Between her person, car and apartment, police allegedly netted about 600 bags of heroin, 20 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and $4,450 in cash.

The investigation followed several tips to Claremont Police, Vermont State Police and the Vermont Drug Task Force that Davis had been selling drugs out of her apartment.

On Jan. 18, investigators from the New Hampshire Drug Task began conducting surveillance on her apartment, observing numerous vehicles and people going in and out for short periods of time. This behavior is “consistent with drug sales activity,” affidavits state.

Just after noon on Jan. 31, police pulled over a man and woman who had recently left Davis’ 12 Spofford Ave. apartment. A search of the woman’s person netted four bags allegedly containing cocaine.

The woman agreed to cooperate with police and was released without charges, driving herself to the Cornish Police Department to give a voluntary statement about allegedly purchasing marijuana from Davis several times in the last three months.
