Twin Valley went to Bellows Falls on Tuesday and the boys of Bellows Falls won 43-30. It was senior night for the lone senior, Shane Clark and he lead the Bellows Falls team on defense for the night with four steals and set the tone early. “The Bellows Falls defense was just outstanding today,” said head coach Ryan Stoodley.
“We were flying around putting a lot of pressure on Twin Valley guards only giving up 5 points in the first quarter and 17 in the first half,” added Stoodley. Bellows Falls continued to play aggressive defense only allowing just 13 points and played good offense while moving the ball around and putting pressure on the 2-3 zone of Twin Valley.
“I am very happy in how we turned around after losing a tough one the night before and took it to them,” Stoodley said. Bellows Falls are now 8 and 11 on the season and finish on Friday at Chester at 7 pm. Ryan Kelly lead scoring with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
