LUDLOW — Following volunteer work that began in August of last year, the Friends of Ludlow Auditorium (FOLA) dedicated a new dressing room at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28 in the Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium.

Designed and constructed by FOLA members, the modern facility provides well-lit space, a large closet area, and countertop with vanity mirrors for the use of the performers.

The floor has been carpeted and new chairs added. A speaker was installed by Boston Soundworks so that performers in the dressing room could be aware of what was happening on-stage.

Project manager was Jim Alic, assisted by David Almond, Kevin Kuntz, Martin Nitka, Ralph Pace, Scott Stearns, and Harry Welch, according to a press release. Alic said that FOLA received advice from Piper Goodeve of the Weston Playhouse as to the design of the room and desirable equipment in it for performers.
