NEWPORT — The Sunshine 5k race in Newport will be held on Saturday, May 12.
The Kids Race will start at 9:30 a.m. followed by the 5k race at 10 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Newport Recreation Department for the scholarship program.
Runners can register in advance at www.newportrec.com for $15 prior to May 11 or $20 on race day.
