Somersworth 75, Fall Mt. 59
SOMERSWORTH — Fall Mountain dropped a 75-59 decision to Somersworth on March 1 in the first round of the Division III playoffs.
The Wildcats outscored Somersworth in the second half, 43-39, but fell behind by 20 points in the opening half.
“We grew from last year and we will look to continue to build this program up,” said Fall Mountain Coach Justin Cassarino.
Owen Marandino led Fall Mountain with 13 points and Michael Murdoch added 12 for the Wildcats who finished their season at 9-10.
Gilford 53, Stevens 33
GILFORD — Gilford moved on to the Division III quarterfinals by downing Stevens, 53-33, in the opening round of the Division III tournament on Thursday. The Cardinals finished their season with a 10-9 record.
Luke Come led the Cardinal offensive attack with 12 points followed by Josh Stithen with 9.
Seniors playing their final game were Drew Grenier, Joe Desilets, Mitch Paquette, Come, Tanner Durkee, Teagan Daignaiult and James Aiken.
