NEWPORT — Newport will host a Meet the Coaches night for the spring athletic season March 19 in the high school gymnasium at 6:30 p.m.
Parents, guardians and student/athletes will get to meet their high school and middle school coaches and receive information, schedules etc., for the upcoming season.
Along with meeting the coaches, attendees will have the opportunity to get information about the Life of an Athlete program, concussion program, the dangers of substance abuse and a brief presentation from Newport Middle and High School athletic director Jeff Miller on how to best support your student/athlete at a game or meet.
Athletic photo day has been scheduled for April 17 and photo forms will be available for pickup.
Signups on Family ID will be open on March 12; if anyone has trouble guidance will be given on Meet the Coaches Night.
