SPRINGFIELD —Three contested positions were decided by Springfield voters during the annual town voting session Tuesday night.
In the race for town clerk Pixie Hill picked up186 votes to defeat Annette R. Granger with 22.
Elected to the zoning board for three years were Peter Abair, 114, and Cody Patten, 102. Trailing were Tanner H. Jacques, 89, and Roderick Corbett, 35.
In the two-way battle for one seat as a library trustee for three years, Gregory Bruss downed Azra Karabegovie. 129-58.
Other positions along with vote totals went to George B. McCusker III, selectman for three years, 146; Bernard Manning, moderator, 110; treasurer, Maryanne E. Petrin, 187; planning board, two openings for three years, Kevin Lee, 167 and Kenneth Jacques, 160; budget committee, three openings for three years, Darrin Patten, 179, Leigh L. Callaway, 168 and Jeff Milne, 161; supervisor of the checklist for six years, Shelley West, 181; trustee of the trust4 funds for three years, Joyce Guinther, 181 and cemetery trustee for three years, Annette R. Granger, 179.
A zoning amendment proposed by the planning board gained approval, 114-87.
