SPRINGFIELD -Have you ever thought it would be fun to paint with watercolors? Here is your chance to explore the basics. Join artist Christine Mix for an introduction to watercolor painting at Gallery at the VAULT from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. Chris is a delightful teacher who gives lots of individual attention.
This class is suitable for teens and adults and will include tips on materials and resources, as well as how to blend colors. You will have a chance to experiment with different watercolor techniques and engage in a “Painting a Still Life With Your Imagination” exercise, where you will add your imagination and discover your own style of watercolor painting.
Cost is $40 members and $45. non-members. A materials list will be provided at registration. The instructor will have some supplies on hand for a suggested donation of $10.
