CLAREMONT — Anita Kebalka passed away peacefully Thursday, March 22, 2018, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Claremont, the daughter of Rosario and Adele (Lambert) Rouillard. She attended a convent in St. Hughe, Canada in the province of Quebec from the time she was three years old until she was nine years of age with several of her sisters. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Claremont.
As a young woman, she enjoyed attending dances and singing with her sisters. She was an avid swimmer, enjoyed crossword puzzles, was a fabulous cook, an amazing knitter, and crotched beautiful items for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with many of her dear friends. Her passion was raising her children and taking care of her family. She worked at Garrison Stove and Letterman Press prior to retiring. She was married to Adam Kebalka in 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband Adam and her sisters Rosette, Theresa, Marie and Claire.
She is survived by five sons, David Kebalka of Cornish, Peter Kebalka of Lebanon, New Hampshire, Michael Kebalka of Claremont, Jeffrey Kebalka of Winchester, Virginia and Chris Kebalka of Newbury, New Hampshire; two daughters, Karen Hartford of Bow, New Hampshire and Lisa Maheu of Goffstown, New Hampshire; her niece, Vivian (Densmore) MacDonald, with whom she had a very special bond; her sister, Frances Griswold of Terriville, Connecticut; and her brother, Gerard Rouillard of Naugatuck, Connecticut; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will not be any calling hours and she will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont.
