CLAREMONT —Enjoy a free viewing of “The Trans List” to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31. The movie is hosted by Rural Outright, a program of TLC Family Resource Center, and will be shown at TLC, located at 109 Pleasant St., in Claremont. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is a day to show your support for the transgender community and bring attention to the accomplishments of trans people around the globe.
“The Trans List,” directed by acclaimed portrait photographer and filmmaker Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and featuring interviews and an introduction by Janet Mock, shines a light on prominent members of the transgender community. After the film, there will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.
TLC Family Resource Center supports and strengthens all families, children, and youth of Sullivan and Lower Grafton counties with a wide-range of free programs, support groups, and education.
