After a week of maybe we will and maybe we won’t, no snow fell on Sullivan County during the storm that made its way up the East Coast on Wednesday. “I hope we don’t,” most of the natives were saying during that time period.
For comparison, the all-time low for March 24th was -2 in 2014 while the all-time high was a balmy 70 in 1987.
A dusting of snow greeted churchgoers Sunday morning, just a reminder that winter is still hanging around. That was the only snow that arrived all last week and we’re closing in on some warm days later this week, something everyone is looking forward to enjoying.
The morning lows are also on the rise. The changeover started on May 21, the second day of spring.
