UNITY — An Apple Tree Pruning Demonstration will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Sullivan County Complex, 95 County Farm Road in Unity. Admission is free.
Join local, veteran apple pruners Stan McCumber, Jenny Wright and Vanessa Keith for a demonstration on how to maintain and restore established apple trees. Young fruit tree care (apples and pears), including pruning, training and protection from insects and rodents, will also be discussed.
