Lillian A. Bahrakis

LEMPSTER — Lillian A. Bahrakis, 81, of Charlestown Turnpike in Lempster, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb. 27, 1937, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of George and Rose Gagnon. Lillian had been employed by Joann’s Fabrics in Massachusetts. She enjoyed making jewelry, feeding the birds and squirrels, fishing, playing bingo and was a great shopper. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. 

Lillian was the widow of Roger Bahrakis, who died in 2008. They had been married for 55 years. 

Members of her family include two daughters, Diane Bahrakis and her husband, Michael Fischer of Lempster, and Patty Bahrakis of Woodstock, Vermont; two sons, John Bahrakis and his wife, Cathy of Ashland, Massachusetts and Gary Bahrakis of Pelham, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bucky Gagnon; a sister, Doris Marcotte; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St., in Claremont,  with the Rev. Arockia Antony, Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m.

 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
