BELLOWS FALLS – Active Parenting of Teens is an engaging skills-based workshop that empowers parents and caregivers to face the changes, choices and challenges that arise throughout the teen years. The workshop offers the opportunity to increase understanding of how to stay connected and how to communicate respectfully during conflict. Learn how to support your child in balancing stress, and responsibilities. Become prepared to talk to your tween or teen about sensitive issues such as drugs, sexuality and violence, and set clear expectations. The workshop will meet each from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday from April 26 through May 31.
Facilitators Don Tretler and Nancy Panelle will lead the workshop. Both are experienced parents and well-seasoned professionals, who enjoy serving and empowering parents and caregivers of tweens and teens parents.
