Parent Dinner and Discussion Nights hosted by The Collaborative

LONDONDERRY—Parent dinner and discussions start weekly from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 for five (5) weeks except April 18 and end on May 9. Weekly topics include Mindfulness, Empathy, Conflict Management, Screen Time, and Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs.

Preregister for all sessions or individual sessions of interest. Free childcare and dinner provided with preregistration.

Turn the challenges of raising youth into opportunities for growth. Open to parents of youth in grades 3 and up. The meetings are at The Collaborative,91 VT Route 11, Londonderry, behind Flood Brook School.

Loretta Murphy, facilitator, will lead group discussions focused on sharing ideas to encourage your child to cultivate positive relationships and life-long social skills, communicate with you and others understand feelings of others, resolve conflicts with other family members and peers, manage and balance school assignments, family time and screen time, engage in discussion about alcohol and drugs.

Facilitator, Loretta Murphy, enhances the workshop with her professional training as an educator and Mental Health Therapist and Certified Health Educator, Kali Trautwein, will provide professional guidance on how to have conversations with youth to prevent substance use. This five week workshop is free and each participant receives. Dinner and childcare provided with pre-registration by calling The Collaborative at (802) 824-4200.
