WESTMINSTER — Join us at Kurn Hattin Homes for Children for the 11thAnnual Kurn Hattin Jazz Invitational at 7 p.m. on April 11 in the Higbie Auditorium. The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be none other than the renowned Mr. Eugene Uman, Artistic Director at the Vermont Jazz Center. Performing groups for the evening will include:

Brattleboro Union High School Jazz Workshop – Eugene Uman and Rob Freeber, Directors
Northfield Mount Herman Jazz Ensemble – Ron Smith, Director

Vermont Academy Jazz Ensemble – Steve Cady, Director
Keene Jazz Orchestra – Steve Cady, Director

The 11thAnnual Kurn Hattin Jazz Invitational will be held in tribute to Scott Mullett. Mr. Mullette, who was a world-class musician who spent two decades performing across the globe, passed away in January of this year. He inspired and guided hundreds of developing musicians as a professor at Keene State College, as faculty at the Vermont Jazz Center, and as the creator of the Keene Jazz Orchestra. Admission for the concert will be a donation to the Scott Mullett Fund for Jazz Education, collected at the door or online at keenejazzorchestra.org.
