PROCTORSVILLE — Olive Gilman, 96, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2018. Born April 10, 1921 in Rutland, Olive was the daughter of Ernest W. and Mabel M. (Fuller) Sheldon of Chippenhook, VT.
Employed for thirty three years by Mack Molding in Cavendish left her with many fond memories. Olive also worked at Walpole Tetromatics. Olive was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening,bingo,ceramics and shopping.
Survivors include two children: a daughter, E. Faye Miner, with whom she lived in Proctorsville and a son, Roy Gilman of Ludlow; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a brother Maurice Sheldon of Proctorsville, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by five siblings: Caroline Bersaw, Merritt Sheldon, Ernest Sheldon, Willis Sheldon and baby Eugene Sheldon.
