NEWPORT — The Newport Senior Center will provide refreshments again this year during the Newport Rotary Club’s 8th Annual Penny Sale May 12 in the gymnasium at Newport Middle School and Newport High School.
The NSC is looking for some of its talented bakers to bake some goodies for the sale.
Not a baker, consider donating $3 for the purchase of water or soda for sale at the Penny Sale.
The Senior Center will have a booth at the Newport Chamber Day June 16 on the Newport Common. Seniors will be cooking up some delicious food.
An application has also been submitted for approval to provide refreshments at the Apple Pie Crafts Fair on Aug. 25th.
Volunteers are needed for both events on Chamber Day and at the Apple Pie Crafts Fair.
