CLAREMONT — A Claremont woman who was arrested in January for allegedly possessing more than 600 bags of heroin faces new drug charges this week.

Samantha Davis, 28, was charged this week with two counts of sale of controlled drugs after she allegedly provided 20 bags of heroin to a Lebanon woman, who in turn allegedly sold the drugs to a woman cooperating with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force.

During the alleged transaction, Davis’ movements were being recorded through a leg bracelet tracker she was required to wear after she was released on $10,000 bail only a few months prior. She is currently being held at the Sullivan County House of Corrections on $100,000 cash bail.

Davis’ arrest on Monday was her second this year. On Feb. 2, she pleaded not guilty to two counts each of selling cocaine and selling marijuana, and one count each of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana. Between her person, car and apartment, police allegedly netted about 600 bags of heroin, 20 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and $4,450 in cash during a Jan. 31 drug bust.

Conditions of her release included house arrest and her wearing of the electronic tracking bracelet that police would use to pin her at the site of an alleged drug deal on March 15.

According to affidavits, Drug Task Force officers had been working with an informant last month when she was contacted by Lebanon-resident Destin Rogers about an alleged drug deal.

The informant agreed to wear an audio recording device while meeting with Rogers, while police followed their movements from West Lebanon to Washington Street in Claremont.

While the two were waiting in the Walmart parking lot, Rogers allegedly called Davis about the providing drugs for the transaction before meeting with her at a parking lot further down the street.

There, Davis allegedly gave Rogers the heroin to provide to the informant.

Police say they cross-checked Davis’ electronic monitoring records against the locations of the alleged deal and found an exact match, issuing a warrant for her arrest shortly thereafter.

On Monday, Claremont Police records show that the department arrested Davis on behalf of the Drug Task Force.
