Boardman named Claremont Savings Bank trustee

CLAREMONT — Claremont Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Brian J. Boardman has been elected a trustee of the bank. He has served as a corporator of CSB since 2013.

Boardman is a Claremont native and a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1987. He became a master electrician in 1993, just before joining Whelen Engineering. He became director of facilities in 1998, general manager in 2009 and vice president of operations in 2015. He oversees the operations of five divisions in Charlestown.

Boardman has worked with many Greater Claremont community organizations including the Regional Economic Profile Committee, River Valley Community College Presidential Search Committee and Business and Industry Association. He resides in Claremont with his wife, Tawna Boardman.

“We are delighted to welcome Brian to our board of trustees,” CSB Chairman of the Board Thomas Connair said.

“As a Claremont native and vice president of Whelen Engineering, Brian’s experience, talent and business savvy will be an added resource to our board in carrying out our mission to best serve the community,”  Connair said. “We look forward to his participation.”
