BELLOWS FALLS— Greater Falls Connections will be hosting their monthly coalition meeting from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, April 27 at Rockingham Medical Group at1 Hospital Ctin Bellows Falls. The meeting will be located in the fireplace conference room, downstairs at the medical center. A group of Southern Vermonters attended the National Rx Abuse and Heroin Summit in Atlanta earlier this month, and they will present takeaways and actions we can take as a community to address the opioid crisis. Turning Point Recovery Center of Springfield, Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS) and Springfield Medical Care Systems (SMCS), will join Greater Falls Connections in presenting key ideas and inspirations from the summit.
Come and learn about incorporating recovery into treatment programs, reducing stigma, the latest data trends, peer-based programs, and creating community-wide involvement. The monthly coalition meetings for Greater Falls Connections provide informative presentations on issues related to substance abuse prevention and updates on our work. Meetings are free and open to everyone. Lunch will be provided. Prevention through inspiration!
