NORTH WALPOLE — The North Walpole Village Volunteers, an unofficial group of local residents, have organized a Village Clean Up Day for the morning of Saturday, April 28. Interested participants are invited to form up in the parking lot in front of the North Walpole Village Library where they will be organized into teams. Refreshments will be available till noon along with official New Hampshire blue trash bags, enthusiasm, and encouragement from the Village Volunteers.
Two years ago the organization began with a spring project to beautify the North Walpole Village Park at the foot of School Hill. Last year a day was scheduled with refreshments and park fix up again in the spring. This year it is all scheduled together with an entire Village spring clean up. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
