The Independent Television Festival announces Fall dates

MANCHESTER— The Independent Television Festival (ITVFest) called “the Sundance of independent television,” welcomes thousands of attendees to the Green Mountains of Vermont for five days of screenings, lively panel discussions, and networking events with some of the television industry’s best independent producers, content creators, and executives. The festival is lauded for both its intimacy and camaraderie as well as the ‘can’t-find-anywhere-else’ opportunities afforded to independent television creators.

Thousands of filmmakers from around the globe submit their comedy and drama pilots throughout the summer. Approximately 70 of the best shows are chosen and screened at the festival. Winners of the Best Drama and Best Comedy categories presented at the festival’s awards ceremony each receive development meetings with HBO executives as their prize.

The event will be once again held in ITVFest’s hometown of Manchester, Vermont, October 10-14, 2018. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and discover the best new TV shows from around the world. Single day passes provide attendees unlimited in-and-out general admission access to all content screenings and panel discussions.

Early bird tickets are now on sale through May 31, 2018 and are priced at $20 per day and $75 for all five days. Early bird tickets can currently be purchased atitvfest.comand those interested in being a part of the event as volunteers are encouraged to send an email to [email protected].
