Conroy’s perspective desperately needed

To the Editor:

Please join me in supporting Cindy Conroy for Newport Board of Selectmen.

I have known Cindy since 1995 and have worked closely with her over the years. I know her to be a thoughtful and kind medical professional.

One of the things I like about working with Cindy is her honesty and straight talk. You can count on her telling you what she thinks and I think honesty and straight talk is just what we need on this Board.

It’s been a while since we had a strong woman on the board and I can’t think of a better time or choice for the difficult job of being a member of the Board of Selectmen.

Her perspective is desperately needed at this critical time.
