N.L. Recreation Department has busy schedule planned

NEW LONDON — Don’t forget to register at the New London Recreation Department for Junior Summer Adventure Camp!

The age range is 8 to 12 and the prices are $50 for New London residents and $60 for non-residents.

Archery—May 26 and May 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Farming/Gardening—July 17 and July 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fishing—July 10 and July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fort Building 1—July and July 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fort Building 2—July 24 and July 26 from 9 a.m.1 p.m.

A number of exciting upcoming events to look forward to follow:

Touch a Truck/ Car Show on May 5 at Clarke’s Hardware (please reserve your ‘hot rod’, dump truck, fire truck, tractor, race car, etc. with Scott at 526-6401).

Granite State Track & Field on May 8 (kids ages 9-14 years old).

Free Hot Dog Day at the Town Offices on May 18.

Boston Red Sox trip on Friday, May 18.

Senior trips to Foster’s Clam Bake (June 5) and Clark’s Trading Post (June 19).

Fourth Annual Strawberry Festival on June 23 (still accepting vendor reservations).
