Music in the Meadow scheduled for June 30

CHESTER, Vt. — The 16th annual Music in the Meadow fundraising concert for the Vermont-New Hampshire Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will be held Saturday, June 30, at the Motel in the Meadow on Route 11 West in Chester, Vermont. This event will be held from noon to 8 p.m. with the gates opening at 11:30 a.m.

The organizers are hoping to surpass highest record for donations of $9,730, which takes the grand total raised in 15 years to nearly $60,000. All proceeds collected go to the Komen Race for the Cure to hopefully find a cure for breast cancer. There are no deductions taken out for expenses. All monies raised at this event go to Race for the Cure.

Back for 2018 will be the very popular raffle, silent auction and as always, entertainment performed by local musicians, including but not limited to, Green Mountain Express, Ben Fuller, Heartfire, Brendon Thomas, Totally Submerged, The Imperfectionists, The Illusion and Intercept, who donate their time and talent. Also returning will be the horseshoe tournament. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
