BELLOWS FALLS, Vt.— Nicolas Potter has been chosen the April Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. He is a senior and is the son of Jack and Lori Potter of Rockingham.
An active learner, Nic goes to school every day with a desire to learn and improve his skills. He is a member of the BFUHS Marilee Huntoon/ Jeese A. Judd Chapter of the National Honor Society.
He excels academically, contributes to class discussions, and is patient, kind and helpful to the other students in his classes.
Nic is someone people can count on to offer assistance without being asked. He is responsible and conscientious and shows respect and kindness toward everyone he meets.
As a young man with exceptional character, Nic sets a great example for other students by modeling exemplary manners and excellent behavior in a quiet and well-mannered way. He is polite, dependable and devoted to finding a way to use his talents to give back to his community.
Not only does he serve as a role model through his academics, but he is also active in extracurricular activities. He is an avid swimmer and runner and has an interest in the martial arts. After graduation, he plans to join the U.S. Marines.
