CLAREMONT — A total of 626 people (485 adults and 151 children) stepped up Saturday to help raise $71,142 at the 12th Annual Steppin’ Up to End Violence 5k walk and fun run.
There ewere76 teams and 89 passionate volunteers.
The Top 5 fundraisers were the KCPC Saints, Shapiro Schleppers, Be the Change, SUUper TrUUpers and the Senior Peacekeepers.
Turning Points Network’s staff and board extended a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated and an extra special thank you to Becky, a survivor, who spoke to the crowd.

The Top 3 runners in each class follows:
Women—Kristi Snider, 12:12; Courtney Houde, 26:13; Maggie Saracino and Michelle Lavigne, 28:31.
Men—Elijah Lafleur, 21:37; John Hall, 23:13, Andrew Garami, 27:17.
Children—John Paul Martin, 22:17; Patrick Regan, 30:07; Tim Regan, 30:08.
