WALPOLE — The Walpole Unitarian Church Quilters will hold a reception and show for the group’s recently completed quilt project from 6 to 8 p.m. this Friday at Hastings. All are welcome to attend.
The quilt is a queen sized, Amish-style, 100 percent cotton quilt that the group hand-quilted. Raffle tickets, at $5 or 6 for $25, will be available for sale.
In addition to the beautiful quilt, the Church Quilters will have several other quilts on display. These are quilts that are special to the members. Visitors are invited to stay a while, browse the handmade treasures, and enjoy the snacks.
Refreshments include finger sandwiches, a fruit and cheese platter, luscious desserts, and punch.
The event promises to be “a lovely evening of conversation and memories,” according to organizers.
