Bellows Falls drama students present ‘An Evening of One Acts’

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — “An Evening of One Acts,” two original plays written by Bellows Falls Union High School Dramatic Performance students Zoe Schemm and Emily Wunderlee, will be performed at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 31.

“All in a Day,” written by Wunderlee, follows the story of four strangers coming together in one tale of dreams, magic, and the power of acceptance. With massive twists, heartfelt relationships, and beautifully comic moments, this play is a must see for anyone who loves theater, according to a press release from the school. The production will also incorporate elements of puppetry, a first in the Bellows Falls Theater Department.

The second play to be performed, “The Family Dog,” written by Zoe Schemm, tells the story of a shipwrecked family attempting to make it off a deserted island with their lives and their sanity still intact.

Zoe Schemm is the producer of the upcoming show. Both plays will be performed at the Bellows Falls Union High School auditorium. Tickets will be $2.
