Saxtons River man charged with sexual assault

SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. — David Robichaud, 20, of Saxtons River, Vermont was arrested on May 18 on a charge of sexual assault stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred on April 21 / 22, 2018 in the town of Saxtons River (Westminster), all according to a press release from the Vermont State Police.

After a joint investigation between VSP and the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Robichaud was located and arrested.

Robichaud was released on a criminal citation and court ordered conditions of release, according to police.

He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Criminal Court on the morning of June 26. Additional charges may be pending police said.
