CLAREMONT — Ralph Thomas Rouillard Sr., 82, passed away on May 21, 2018. He was born on Aug. 10, 1935, the son of Silva and Olive (Mcgraw) Rouillard.
He graduated from St Mary’s. He went on to serve in the Army. When he returned home, he worked as a career firefighter, eventually retiring from the Claremont Fire Department. He went on to work as a full-time machinist. He enjoyed woodworking, watching the Red Sox and the Patriots, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Todd Rouillard and his wife, Sara; Kathy Hunter and her husband, Michael; Thomas Rouillard, and Stephanie Rouillard and her husband, Michael Gillespie; grandchildren, Taylor, Katelynn, Logan, Lucas, Dee, Michael, and Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Avery and Ryder.
He was predeceased by his brother, Carl Rouillard.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake Sunapee VNA and Hospice Care, 107 Newport Road New London, NH.
Calling hours will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon, May 25 at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St. in Claremont. A service will follow at 2 p.m.
