NEWPORT — Gert Gagnon placed first in cribbage action May 4 at the Newport Senior Center with a score of 609, Dottie Giddens was second at 599 and June Lunderville third at 516.
On May 11 Louie Lemire topped the field with a 592 followed by Bill Goyette, 586 and Dottie Giddens, 512.
In a close match on May 18 Louie Lemire led the way with a 601 score followed closely by Lorraine Cloutier at 600. Mel Economou trailed at 542.
Cribbage matches will resume after Labor Day.
