CLAREMONT — The Memorial Day Observance in Claremont will be held Monday, May 28th hosted by American Legion Post 29.
The parade will start at Claremont Middle School at 10 a.m.
It will proceed down South Street to Pleasant Street, stopping briefly at the West Pleasant Street Cemetery to honor the Unknowns, then continue up Pleasant Street and march to Broad Street Park for an observance and volley to honor our fallen Veterans.
After the ceremony, there will be a luncheon at the American Legion Hall, 119 Broad St., Claremont, for Veterans and their families. This event is free and open to the public.
