Corey Hassan Basketball is coming to Claremont, NH on Wednesday, May 30 to put on a basketball clinic. This is your children’s chance to learn from a top-50 scorer in NCAA Division 1 and high-level European professional player who has broken 3-point shooting records at every level played. The clinic will be at Claremont Savings Bank Community Center from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Ages for the clinic are 12-17, boys and girls. The cost will be $35 per athlete. Email [email protected] to register.
About Corey Hassan
Corey Hassan is a former NH state basketball player of the year, Division 1 NCAA standout and former European professional basketball player. He won two Division 1 state championships at Merrimack High School where he finished his senior year averaging 28 ppg, with his team winning by an average of over 24 points per game. His High School career high included a 50 point performance. In college, Corey Hassan played at Boston University where he was named to the All-Rookie team and broke the Boston University freshman record for 3 pointers made in a season. He also was the first freshman since Steve Nash (2X NBA MVP) to be named to the Cable Car Classic Christmas Tournament All-Tournament Team. He then transferred to Division 1 Sacred Heart University where he led his conference in scoring his senior year, was featured in SLAM magazine, broke his school record twice for made 3 pointers in a game, was top 50 in NCAA Division 1 in scoring and top 10 in NCAA Division 1 in 3-pointers made per game. He was named to numerous All-Conference teams. He then played professionally in Germany for two seasons, breaking both teams records for 3 pointers in a season and was the leading rookie scorer in the German Pro A league. His team won the German Pro A Championship in 2013.
Corey has been training athletes from Elementary to professionals since 2010. He currently has trained a top-100 player in the U.S. and has trained several professional players in European leagues. Corey specializes in all aspect of skill development but is best known for improving shooting ability.
