HANOVER — Marjorie E. (Herman) Juchem, 89, passed away on Jan. 9, 2018 at Hanover Terrace after several years of declining health.
Marjorie was born on Feb. 13, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Barnard Herman and Evelyn (Becker) Herman. She worked as a waitress, telephone operator, and home health aide for many years in New York state. Marjorie married Donald Juchem and they shared 62 years together before he passed in 2008. She enjoyed family camping trips, picnics, and other family get-togethers.
Marjorie is predeceased by her husband, Donald, and her brother, William Herman. She is survived by her sons, Greg Juchem of Tully, New York and his wife Natividad, Todd Juchem of Red Hook, New York, and Darryl Juchem of Kingston, New York; her daughter, Wendy Juchem of Tucson, Arizona; her brother, Roger Herman and his wife Bunny of Bradford, New Hampshire; her sister, Ethelyn Sherman and her husband Bradford of Newbury, New Hampshire; her brother-in-law, Keith Juchem; her grandchildren, Carin, Todd Jr., Amanda, Kimberly, Ryan, Cian, Brett, and Allison; 10 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains, New York at the convenience of the family.
Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
