Local students earn degrees from the University of Vermont

WINDSOR, Vt. — More than 3,000 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont’s 217th commencement ceremonies recently. Among the local graduates from southeastern Vermont were the following:

Devon Boy of Windsor, Bachelor of Arts, linguistics; Marta Carreno of Saxtons River, Bachelor of Science, business administration; Sara-Anne Engerman of Westminster, Bachelor of Science, environmental sciences; Tucker Gilman of Windsor, Bachelor of Science, mechanical engineering; Blakely Gilmore of Ludlow, Bachelor of Science, early childhood preschool; Alonzo Tapley of Windsor, Bachelor of Science, Alternate Track – VT RN; and Grace Voorhees of Weathersfield, Bachelor of Science, neuroscience.

Honor Klassen named to dean’s honor list

PERKINSVILLE, Vt. — Honor Klassen of Perkinsville, VT, was named to the dean’s honor list for the Spring 2018 semester at Cedarville University. Klassen attends school in Cedarville, Ohio.
