GOSHEN — David P. Daniels, 65, of Brook Road in Goshen, died on June 3, 2018. He was born on June 25, 1952 in Newport, N.H. to the late Edward and Cynthia (Alto) Daniels.
David has lived in the area his entire life except for a few years when he was serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Sturm-Ruger for 43 years.
David, affectionately known as “Bumpa” by his family, was a quiet and sometimes stubborn man but was full of love for his wife, kids, and grandkids. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and the Red Sox.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family in the White Mountains. David liked George Jones and old country music. He was an animal lover, especially of his dogs. Bowling and a good TV show were a couple of his favorite hobbies. David was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 25.
David is predeceased by his parents; brother-in-law, Stanley Radford; and nephews, Mark, Christopher, and Aaron Radford.
Surviving family members include his loving wife of more than 40 years, Nancy (Caron) Santti; children, Wanda Santti of South Sutton, Norman Santti and his wife, Kara, of Sunapee, Timothy Santti of Georges Mills, Daniel Santti and his wife, Erika, of Georges Mills, Missy (Daniels) Miles of Springfield, and Jonathan Daniels and his wife, Shannon, of Goshen; sister, Linda Radford of Newport; grandchildren, Taylor, Alexa, Daniel, Hunter, Haylee, and Katie Santti; nephews, Tim and Tom Radford; and many friends and extended family members.
David will be buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport at a private service. A celebration of his life will be held in the future.
