BIRD WALK

Join Naturalist Wendy Ward and UNH Cooperative Extension Forester Dode Gladders for a morning bird walk from 8-10 a.m. on Friday, June 9 in Claremont where we expect to see and hear a variety of bird species. This walk will explore the trails and habitats of Moody Park. Binoculars, bug spray and good hiking shoes/boots recommended. Remember to bring a snack. We will meet at the entrance to Moody Park on Maple Avenue in Claremont, 0.8 mile west of Route 11. For those with GPS units: N 43.3641, W 72.3640.

“Your Hometown Band” begins its summer season of great music from the Mary Haddad Bandstand on the Sargent Common in New London, 6:30-8 p.m., in the event of rain, concerts will be held in the Whipple Memorial Town Hall adjacent to the common.

WILDCAT FIRE TRAIL 5k

BEN MERE BANDSTAND

Dr. Hap. a four-piece blues band specializing in the driving boogie blues popularized by Johnny Winter, George Thorogood and the J. Geils Band, a sound that owes equal debts to Chuck Berry and John Lee Hooker, Dennis Martin took up the harmonica at age 10, over a 30-year professional career he’s performed all over the world, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

ST. ANDREW’S SUMMER FAIR
