SUNAPEE — The Sunapee Board of Selectmen gave approval to the Sestercentennial Committee to expend funds to cover four different items at its Monday meeting.
They include $500 to support participation of the Bektash mini-car patrol in the Sestercentennial parade and $150 to support participation of the Kearsarge Community Band in the parade.
The committee was also given the OK to spend an amount not to exceed $2,000 to purchase bunting and a banner to decorate town property for the celebration.
An amount not to exceed $2,000 was also approved to purchase an additional 100 license plates to be sold to raise money to support the celebrations.
