Newbury nursing assistant achieves Hospice / Palliative Care certification

NEWBURY — Tina Clifton, CHPNA, one of the licensed nursing assistants BAYADA Hospice in Norwich, Vermont, has achieved voluntary certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. With this designation, Clifton, who provides patients throughout the Upper Valley with high quality end-of-life services, is specially qualified to provide care that enables those at end of life to remain safe at home with comfort and dignity.

“Tina is dedicated to the work and to her patients,” said Jessica DeGrechie, director, in a press release. “She has such a big heart. She pours her heart and soul into the work and treats patients like they are her own family. We’re so lucky to have her in the homes of our patients and their family members.”

Clifton has been an LNA with BAYADA since 2014. She currently resides in Newbury.
