GFC plans annual meeting and Advisory Board vote

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — The Greater Falls Connections Annual Meeting will take place at noon Friday, June 22 at the Rockingham Free Public Library. All Coalition members — anyone who supports GFC’s mission and is involved or would like to be involved — are encouraged to attend.

In addition to youth-led presentations and activities, the Coalition will vote on articles to change its by-laws and to elect the 2018-2019 Advisory Board. All are welcome to celebrate the end of the program year and preview next year. Lunch and good company will be provided.

Members who are unable to attend the meeting may register their opinions in writing with Chair Deb Grant at [email protected] or Director Laura Schairbaum at [email protected]

Coalition members will vote on the an article to increase how many people can be on the Greater Falls Connections Advisory Board in the future, from 8 to 13 people, to allow for more diversity on the board and make sure the board has more help. 

Board candidates include Kara Lescord, Rockingham, BFUHS student (first term); Andrew Malshuck, Bellows Falls, BFUHS student (first term); Jonathan O’Connor, Westminster, parent (first term); Doreen Stoodley, Westminster, parent, Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce (second term); Marty Gallagher,Bellows Falls, Bellows Falls Rotary Club (first term); Scott Belt, Westminster, Rockingham Health Center (first term) and Shelly Crawford, Rockingham, BFUHS teacher (second term).
