SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — All are welcome to the Springfield Town Library at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12 for the next meeting of the library’s lively Library Challenge Book Group. The challenge for July is to read a book recommended by a friend or a book from your childhood or a book of short stories.
Stop by to choose a book from a display, to browse our shelves, or group participants can read one of their own.
Sign-up is still ongoing for the “Libraries Rock!” Adult Summer Reading Raffle, which runs until Aug. 31. Every book read or audio book listened to qualifies participants for an entry in the weekly raffle drawing for a $10 gift certificate to one of a variety of local businesses. Readers may sign up in person or online. All library patrons 18 and over are eligible to join.
The Library Challenge Book Group is held at the Springfield Town Library, 43 Main Street, Springfield. The July 12 meeting is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required. Newcomers are always welcome. For more information, contact the library at (802) 885-3108 or [email protected].
